Designed to ensure safety
Safety Fence Belgium is a safety system designed to ensure the safety of personnel around the track. The metal structure is designed to be mounted very stably on the side of a track by means of a magnetic head. It is equipped with four magnets of the same size. This provides the strength to remain stable when passing any type of train. An electrical plastic insulation is fitted after the magnetic head to ensure that no electricity can reach the installer from the track.
Extendable system
Next is an extendable aluminium arm that allows the Safety Fence to be mounted at different distances from the track. This arm can extend the Safety Fence to a total distance of 2 metres. The distance can be adjusted using holes with a locking pin that we insert through both tubes to secure everything. The support arm of the Safety Fence rests on a rounded base in stainless steel. The arm is placed in the aluminium tube and can be adjusted to different heights using a locking pin. In this way, one can always provide the perfect support on the ballast.
On the back of the supporting arm are three plates with two holes each. Plastic hooks can be fitted in these holes for two reasons. Firstly, to be able to mount the Safety Tubes safely and securely and, secondly, to add a safety net if required. We always recommend fitting two Safety Tubes on the top hooks, but in case of extremely high ballast or unique situations, a third Safety Tube can also be added on the third row.
